Not every Dream is from God, You can fall asleep with the TV on or a lot on your mind and get a dream that is hard to understand. The Breakdown

As I was beginning to write this blog last night, asking the Holy Spirit to help me bring clarity to this section, I immediately fell asleep. But that night, God gave me a “nightmare”. OR a God showed me how the devil was trying to attack me. The transparent truth. I could have only saw the fear in the dream, but I know better. I was looking for the message in the dream and woke up shaking but with a mission to fight back. Let me share the dream first.

And I raised the question, Can God ALLOW nightmares? And I still say yes. GOD DOES NOT GIVE YOU FEAR! but a message that might be hard to accept, a message that revealing a truth that is hard to understand. If you break down what you experienace in your dream you will be able to understand the WHY behind you had the dream. Youll see that God ALLOWED a message behind it.

Let’s get into the dream that I had.

I was in the basement of an old home, and something was dragging me and my wife, which was an invisible force. I kept trying to pick her up and take her up one flight of stairs, but it was a strong force in my dream that kept pulling us back downstairs.

I pushed and pushed and pushed, and a spirit of fear came upon me, and I knew in my mind that it was an unclean/evil spirit. I pushed up to the second floor and remember bumping into my parents and telling them that there’s some entity that’s trying to pull us back downstairs to help us.

And then I went up from the second floor, and they pulled us back down to the first floor. Then I picked up my wife again and climbed up to the second floor, to the third floor, and tried to shut the door behind me.

I remember before I woke up telling myself, “Satan, you cannot have my wife. You cannot have my family.”

Then I woke up.

Immediately after I woke up, I did what everybody should do after they have a “nightmare.” I started to pray over my family and my house that night.

When you have these dreams you should wake up and pray the following:

• 1) God is this dream from you?
• 2) What are you trying to show me in this message?
• 3) What do you want me to learn from this Dream?
• 4) Lastly, walk around your house Proclaiming the name of Jesus

I walked into every room, every hallway, not out of fear, not claiming that I will beat the devil up, and not even moving under my authority. But instead, I started to pray and to proclaim the glory of God and His power and His kingdom, and proclaiming my identity in Him. I’m His son, so therefore I’m under His rulership.

This is the natural behavior when you’re having a nightmare. You may not understand why He gave you this dream, But every dream from God has a message.

But the next question is, why does God give us these dreams in the first place?

Let’s talk about that in the next paragraph.

Why Would God Give Me “Nightmares?“

In the book of Job, in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible, there’s a story about a man who was perfect in God’s eyes and did no wrong. And one day, the devil went up to God and asked God if he could afflict him. 1:9–11 (KJV

So God allowed it.

And many things fell on Job. He lost his kids, his cattle, his wife left him, and his body became sick. But the devil was not allowed to touch the life of Job.

The end of the story, Job was given double back, and he was restored. But God allowed it.

There are many things in our life that the enemy/the devil, may have a right to in our life due to many reasons we may not understand. I’m referring to the things we allow in our eye gates, the things that we say, our behavior, when we’re lacking our prayer life, when we’re lacking our ability to read the Bible. In other words, when we let our guard down. This is when the Devil sneaks into our life, but he can not stay. We belong to God and we belong to him because of the Cross.

1 Peter 5:8 (KJV):

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

BUT GOD WARNS US!!!!

God entrusts you to know the truth of what is going on in the spiritual realm, and He warns us. This dream has Truth a message that The Devil is trying to attack you. This is the message of these dreams.

When you have these dreams, understand that God is not abusing you or attacking you or punishing you, but Giving you a message becuase he loves you. Its a hard message but still a message.

What to Do When We Have Nightmares From God

Get Up and PRAY!!!! and not bring that fear out of that dream into your real life.
